The end of the world. Supposedly.

The Mayan people from Maya civilization have ancient Maya cyclical calendars that tells them the world is set to end in 2012. Even NASA is predicting a sharp increase in the number of spatial activities in that year. Seems like we are in for hot soup: North becomes South, Sun rises in the west, earthquakes, tsunamis, zombies, free love, weed, sex, you get the drill.

Reminds me of Y2K that didn’t happen. But for some reason, I’m a little worried about this one. Notice how the days have become hotter (in Sg, of course) compared to when we were kids? The weather all over the globe is going whack: New snowfall record in London over the weekend, crazy amount of rain here in Barcelona, asian teen with a fetish. I’m convinced the world will end, but I used to think that it’ll happen after I bite the dust. Now, I’m not so sure anymore. Anyone up for a party that involves earthquakes, tsunamis and zombies on 20-12-2012?

A great way to psych yourself for the end of the world is by watching Lost. One of the awesomest shows ever. Evangeline Lily (Kate) is ridiculously, insanely hot – Almost made me buy a boat to find the island. And if you’re without a phallus, you’ll probably love Sawyer. More importantly, people (see Kate and Sawyer) have sex at the weirdest – and thus most appropriate times. Even the dude who does Ben is intense. Honestly, the real reason I love the show is because it reminds me of the book, Lord of the Flies. Something I studied in Literature in secondary school. Crazy, crazy stuff. Mind blasting.
